Essential oils guide
Internal vs. external use — what’s the difference
Internal use oils are additionally tested for food-grade purity and can be consumed orally — a few drops in water, tea or under the tongue. External use oils are exclusively for skin, diffuser or inhalation.
Why not all essential oils are equal
A therapeutic-quality essential oil contains hundreds of active compounds in correct proportions. Cheap oils are often diluted or contain synthetic compounds. Always check the GC-MS analysis certificate.
How to choose between essential and carrier oil
